Welcome to Wonga Beach State School. We are a modern, innovative and well resourced 'small' school with an enrolment of approximately 150 students [in classes from Prep to Year 7] and a commitment to excellence - in our teaching, in our students and in our programs. Our focus on improvement will see us concentrate on 3 areas in 2011 - reading comprehension, teaching and learning, and Science. Alongside this is our commitment to the environment and sustainability - especially in this year of sustainability!
Thanks to our wonderful P&C who have recently contributed over $6000 to the school for the purchase of reading books to support our improvement goal in reading comprehension. What a great investment in our children!
